Fiefdoms before futures
Fiefdoms over futures
Have you ever seen the earth
Where Titans bared raw might?
Have you seen the bush
Where Rhino's pushed
For selfish possessions?
Pity the Young plants
In the Titans' path
Their beautiful blossoming flowers
Sheathed with dark black dirt
- by-products of conflict.
A young plant stood undefiled
By the darkness of the fight
And mourned his brothers
Dirtied by the Rhinos' bother.
Flung and scattered they were,
Long and far away
From the centre that was home
- victims of war.
